Doggy daycare

At Canine Karma, your dogs have a variety of activities to enjoy throughout their day. Some of the activities include bike rides, where they run alongside the staff on bikes; pack walks; scent work in the two-acre field; place work, which involves teaching impulse control; swimming in the pool (available during summer months only); ball work; agility; lure chasing, and rollerblading. The goal is to provide total fulfilment for your dogs, help them release excess energy, and promote a calm and balanced state of mind. Additionally, they have the opportunity to learn something new during their time at the centre.

If your dog exhibits aggression, Canine Karma specialises in working with dogs that have behavioural issues or have been rejected from other daycare facilities. The staff will work with your dog to socialise them and address their problems. The integration into the pack will be done slowly and safely, aiming to guide the dog back to a balanced state of mind.

During your dog’s heat cycle, Canine Karma cannot accept females in heat due to the presence of intact males in the pack. However, once the heat cycle is over, they will be welcomed back to the daycare.

Just your dog, that’s all we need!

In the rare event that your dog becomes sick or injured during their time at Canine Karma, all staff members are trained in first aid. Additionally, there is a vet on call at all times to address any issues that may arise. You will be notified promptly, and the necessary actions will be taken to ensure the best possible care for your dog.

Canine Karma welcomes all breeds. We believe that every dog deserves the chance to come and learn, without any breed discrimination. The pack at Canine Karma includes a diverse range of breeds, from rottweilers and cane corsos to cavapoos and pomeranians.

It is not a requirement for dogs to be neutered or spayed to attend Canine Karma’s daycare. We accept both intact males and females.

During Christmas and New Year, the daycare is not open, but our boarding facility remains available.

At the moment our daycare isn’t open on weekends but we hope to be soon. Our boarding facility remains available.

Dog boarding

We offer a range of activities for your dog to enjoy during their stay with us, including bike riding, swimming, pack walks, and ball work. Our main goal is to fulfil your dog mentally, physically, and emotionally, ensuring they are content when they return to their room. We also strive to teach them new things while they stay with us and work on any problems they may be facing at home.

Not at all! We operate differently from traditional boarding facilities. Our aim is to get your dog out and about as much as possible and build a relationship with them. They will spend most of the day mingling with the rest of the pack, and participating in activities tailored to their individual needs. So when they return to their room to eat and sleep, they can rest with a smile on their face, knowing they’ve had a fulfilling day as a dog.

We have made thorough preparations for the British weather! Our rooms are equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating, ensuring optimal comfort at all times, regardless of the weather. Additionally, the activities for your dog will be adjusted in accordance with the prevailing weather conditions.

To be honest, there isn’t much preparation needed. Just bring them to us on the arrival day, and we will take care of the rest.

When your dog stays with us, we recommend bringing a blanket that smells like home, any necessary medication, and their food, unless you have indicated that you’ll be using our own supply of food.

We have a policy of accepting any dog for boarding, as we believe every dog deserves a chance. Your dog’s stay will be tailored to their specific needs, and we will do our best to work on any behavioral issues they may have. We specialise in handling behaviorally challenging dogs and feel entirely comfortable and confident in making their stay as relaxing as possible.

We believe that dogs are happiest in a pack environment, which is why we have created a space where all the dogs can interact with each other during the day. Most places let your dog out individually and then lock them back in the kennel. We don’t believe this truly makes the dog happy or fulfils their needs. This is just one of the reasons why we stand out from the rest.

Our booking system allows you to reserve a spot for your dog up to a year in advance.
