Here at Canine Karma, we offer a service like no other!

We are the only five-star doggy daycare service in Hertfordshire catering for fifty dogs.

Our service differs from other doggy daycare facilities in that, during their stay at our centre, all of the dogs have the time of their lives whilst being kept in a safe and structured environment.

How we work

We use a dog psychology approach to teach all the dogs in our care that calmness comes first, then excitement. Many people get that mixed up and have excitement as the forefront energy of their dog. Well as you can imagine, having fifty over-excited dogs would be a recipe for disaster! Over the years of experience, Canine Karma have formulated the perfect recipe for the dogs in our care!

Exercise: off-site walks, three-hour hikes, bike rides, swimming pools, ball work, treadmill, scent work and much more.

Structure: learn to be respectful with other dogs, don’t run through thresholds, place work, be respectful around food, assault courses, mental challenges and much more.

Affection: cuddles with our staff, building great friendships with the other dogs, and yummy treats throughout the day.

At Canine Karma we provide an environment where dogs can be dogs and we do so by providing a place that is completely safe for your dog to come and play for the day, with all types of stimuli to keep them engaged.

We believe exercise is the biggest element that’s missing from other doggy daycare services, so when we say exercise, we mean proper physical and mental stimulation! Not just fifty dogs running riot in a field, but instead allowing each dog to be fulfilled at an instinctual level, and to just go and be a dog for a day.

Our pack is very open-minded and doesn’t prejudge against any breeds. We have many intact males that join us as well, so really any dog is more than welcome to come and join our community – even dogs that have been rejected by other doggy daycare centres before or dogs may have some issues around dogs.

We will work with you and your dog to integrate them into our pack. We can guarantee they will come back home a happier, more balanced, dog after spending some time with us.

We are open from 7:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
