What We Do...

After years of our dog training clients asking us, ‘do you know of any good boarding facilities?’ we thought it was time to open up our own!

Our aim at Canine Karma Resorts is to provide dogs with a complete boarding package incorporating with dog training and dog grooming with modern and comfortable dog boarding.

We focus not only on providing a safe and comfortable environment for your dogs, but also on their mental and physical well-being. Our trained staff members are well-versed in dog behaviour and care ensuring the best possible care for your dog.

Safety

Ensuring your dog’s safety and wellbeing is always our top priority and we take every measure to keep your dog healthy and protected during their stay including: a secure location, on-site staff, highly trained dog handlers, daily deep cleaning, and 24/7 access to veterinary care

Exercise

Exercise is extremely important when looking for overnight care for your dog and at Canine Karma, we feel this is an essential component to making your dog’s stay as stress-free as possible. As we say; birds fly, fish swim, and dogs walk and at Canine Karma Resorts, we will tailor the exercise to your dog’s needs. We have a variety of activities for them to do, such as: three-hour hikes through the Hertfordshire countryside, a run around in our eight-acre field, scent work in our smaller paddock, bike rides in the woodland trails, impulse control in our indoor area and plenty more. A tired dog is a happy dog and we want them to go back to their rooms at night completely fulfilled and content.

Love and affection

Throughout your dog’s stay, your dog will be loved like one of our own. We can’t tell you how much we love these beautiful creatures.

But love is not about giving them endless amounts of cuddles and kisses (although that’s a big part of it!). It’s about giving them what they need on a ‘dog level’, – letting them fully stretch their legs with the wind running through their fur or roll around in mud without a care in the world. Giving them ultimate freedom to ‘be a dog’, that’s what affection means to us!

Comfort

The importance of your dog’s comfort is highlighted by how we have created our rooms for your canine companion.

Our rooms are fitted throughout with underfloor heating and air conditioning and are designed to replicate a bedroom environment for them to relax in, with raised beds and speakers running throughout the building playing relaxing classical music. Rooms are a good size and give dogs plenty of room to move around when they are not out and about exploring, training, playing and exercising.

At Canine Karma Resorts, we pride ourselves on our exceptional training expertise, honed over many years in the dog world.

Our commitment to training is what sets us apart, and we strive to make a positive impact on your dog’s behaviour during their stay with us. Our goal is to instil your dog with improved manners as well as address any specific dog behaviour issues you may be experiencing. Whether it’s teaching your dog basic manners such as not rushing through doorways, socialising calmly with other dogs, or improving leash skills. We focus on reinforcing positive behaviours that contribute to a healthier state of mind. At Canine Karma, We Make Sit Happen! You may rest assured that our skilled trainers are dedicated to helping your dog reach their full potential.

Can you imagine your reactive dog socialising with twenty other dogs? No? Well book a stay with us and we can make that a reality.

We like to cater for all breeds and types of dogs and your stay will be personalised to your, and more importantly your dog’s, needs.

An assessment will need to be arranged prior to any bookings. During peak periods we will only take bookings of five or more consecutive days.
